Beeline Builds Dedicated LTE Network at Veduginskoye Gold Deposit
The deployment has enabled a higher level of automation across mining operations at the site.

Beeline Business has completed a project to build a dedicated LTE network for Polymetal. The network now serves the Veduginskoye gold deposit in Russia's Krasnoyarsk region.
The deployment includes two fixed base stations and three mobile base stations. The mobile units allow network coverage to be adjusted as mining operations advance and open pits expand deeper into the deposit.
The dedicated network made it possible to launch Polina, Polymetal's mine operations dispatch system, at the site. The platform helps monitor and optimize the transportation of mined material, but requires a reliable data transmission channel to operate effectively. The private LTE infrastructure also integrates positioning and asset-management systems for excavators, drilling rigs, and measurement equipment, along with solutions for remote equipment monitoring, video surveillance, and computer vision.
