Rostelecom Upgrades Data Center for Tomsk Region Health Department
Rostelecom has completed a modernization project for the Tomsk Region Department of Health’s data center, replacing outdated infrastructure at both the primary and backup facilities.

The company said legacy equipment was fully replaced with new-generation servers that meet current security standards. All hardware operates on software included in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development’s official registry of approved domestic software.
The upgraded data center now supports the region’s full range of digital healthcare services, including electronic medical records, online doctor appointments, specialized patient registries and telemedicine consultations.
Regional authorities said the upgraded data center will help maintain medical services at a consistently high operational level.
