Automation of Gas Consumption Metering at Enterprises Continues in Mordovia
The system has been rolled out across almost the entire republic.
Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Saransk continues its work to deploy an automated natural gas consumption metering system at enterprises in Mordovia. As of early October, 4,780 gas consumption points in the republic have already been equipped. In 2025, 1,837 equipment sets were installed at enterprises in the republic. Another 728 sets have been installed since the start of the current year. In addition, 1,134 more units will be installed by the end of December.
The deployment of the system enables remote monitoring of 95% of the gas volume consumed by industrial and municipal utility enterprises in Mordovia. By the end of the year, that figure will be brought to 97%.
"The existing telemetry system is very convenient to use. It allows remote monitoring of gas consumption and all its parameters, as well as recording of possible emergency situations," said Vladislav Portnov, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Saransk LLC and Gazprom Gas Distribution Saransk JSC.
