AI Agents and RAG: RT-Techpriyomka Upgrades Its AI Platform

RT-Techpriyomka, a direct-management organization of Russian state corporation Rostec, has upgraded its TEXX.AI platform. The digital tool for automating internal business processes has undergone a major overhaul, gaining a redesigned interface, mobile-device support, and expanded tools for working with artificial intelligence. Once deployed across its enterprises, the platform is expected to speed up document processing and analytics while making day-to-day operations more efficient and effective.

The development of the TEXX.AI platform is particularly important for RT-Techpriyomka because the organization handles a substantial workload. It helps maintain the operational efficiency and competitiveness of civilian and military products, with more than 40 technical acceptance units operating across Russia's regions. The company also hosts Rostec's Center of Competence for Quality Management, Robotics and Automation, as well as a Certification Center responsible for certifying management systems against national and international standards.

Easier Navigation, Broader Capabilities

What makes the upgraded TEXX.AI platform stand out? Rostec has opted for its own platform rather than foreign services such as ChatGPT and Claude. The IT product combines autonomous AI agents with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), a technology that connects a language model to an external database. The new version adds a redesigned interface, mobile access, and new tools for working with artificial intelligence.

The most noticeable change is the interface, which is now more intuitive and easier to use. Developers have simplified navigation and created a more logical structure for workspaces where AI assistants collaborate with company employees. Mobile optimization also allows users to work with TEXX.AI from smartphones and tablets, keeping AI agents available wherever they are needed. The interface automatically adapts to the screen size of different devices.

The upgraded platform also introduces new capabilities, including team collaboration within projects and the ability to invite colleagues into an AI work session. Team members can now work alongside AI agents in a shared workspace to tackle routine business questions and tasks at every stage, from developing ideas through discussing the results.

Keeping Data Off External Servers

One of TEXX.AI's key advantages is security. The platform is built around a local AI model, allowing data to be processed within the company's own environment rather than sent to external servers. That sets it apart from cloud-based services such as ChatGPT and Claude.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) allows AI agents to work with the company's internal information and find accurate, relevant answers in its corporate database rather than making them up or relying on questionable sources. The platform covers more than 40 business processes, ranging from document processing to monitoring the execution of assigned tasks. This can reduce the amount of routine work employees have to handle while keeping sensitive data inside the company.

The platform is designed for three categories of business operations: preparing documents such as internal memos and business correspondence, analyzing data, and developing internal regulations. Autonomous AI agents take on repetitive tasks and can operate around the clock without human involvement.

The TEXX.AI upgrade gives Russia's largest industrial state corporation its own secure platform with AI agents and RAG, designed to work with protected corporate data and potentially be deployed beyond Rostec's internal environment. By reducing the amount of employee attention required for routine operations, the platform is expected to accelerate document processing and analytics across enterprises.

Useful Across Industries

For Russia's IT industry, the TEXX.AI upgrade illustrates how enterprise AI is evolving from standalone language models into practical systems connected to company documents, knowledge bases, and business processes. The development of enterprise AI systems that can run within the organization itself also aligns with the push to adopt Russian software and artificial intelligence across key industries.

By 2030, the plan is to move at least 80% of organizations operating in leading sectors of the economy to Russian-made core and application software. Among state-owned companies and corporations, the target is 95%.

Russian-made enterprise AI systems are likely to find demand among large industrial companies, state-owned enterprises, and organizations with heightened information-security requirements. For these users, the ability to work securely with corporate documents and knowledge bases without sending sensitive information to external public clouds is especially important.

Artificial intelligence is becoming one of the key tools for improving the efficiency of modern business. Today, AI technologies are moving beyond isolated experimental projects and gradually becoming part of everyday corporate processes, from working with large volumes of data to supporting management decisions. RAG technologies and autonomous AI agents open up fundamentally new opportunities for the corporate sector. As the economy undergoes digital transformation, demand for such products will only grow. Our task is to systematically develop TEXX.AI as a modern technology platform capable of addressing real business needs. We take into account the experience of our colleagues across the Corporation while also responding to market demand. Ultimately, the platform should become a sought-after solution not only within Rostec but also for a broad range of external customers
