TsNIITMASH Deploys Digital Solutions to Speed Up Equipment Installation at Nuclear Plants

The Central Research Institute for Machine-Building Technology research and production association has deployed a whole set of production and digital solutions to improve the efficiency of large infrastructure projects. Specialists were able to significantly optimize the production time for embedded parts that serve as the foundation for installing key nuclear plant equipment.
Embedded structures are installed into the building elements of nuclear power units before the main process equipment is mounted. They ensure reliable fastening of all large components. The work was carried out under an industry project aimed at introducing lean manufacturing principles and improving resource efficiency.
