Network of AI Assistants to Be Built at Sechenov University
They will take on routine tasks.
In the coming years, Sechenov University will actively develop AI assistants designed for students, faculty, doctors, and patients. They are expected to take over routine tasks such as preparing documents, filling in information systems, and analyzing and verifying data. The matter was discussed at a meeting of the university's academic council.
In particular, an intelligent assistant integrated into the medical information system will be introduced for clinicians. It will help fill in electronic medical records based on analysis of unstructured doctor–patient dialogue. Another tool is an assistant with an interface via the MAX messenger. When necessary, it will inform the doctor about their schedule and provide data on the patient, test results, and other examinations.
Special attention is to be given to information security when creating these services. All electronic assistants will therefore be deployed exclusively on the university's local servers.
