Alice AI Learns to Create Images Directly in Telegram
Yandex’s Telegram bot can now generate images using the Alice AI neural network.
Image generation via the bot is integrated directly into Yandex’s ecosystem and works natively, without requiring users to configure settings or switch between services.
Previously, the bot functioned mainly as a fast image search tool. It can now “draw” original images directly inside chats.
In Everyday Use
The new mode is seamlessly integrated into the bot’s familiar usage pattern. Users simply type “@pic,” select the option to create an image with Alice AI, enter a text prompt, and start the generation. The finished image appears immediately in the chat window and can be forwarded to other users right away. Saving the image to a device is optional. This makes working with visual content fast and convenient for everyday tasks as well as casual communication.

According to publicly available statistics, @pic is the most popular content bot on Telegram. It is widely used to search for illustrations, memes, and visual inserts for personal and work-related chats. Adding image generation significantly expands its functionality. The bot is no longer just a search tool for ready-made images, but also a generator of new ones.
