New Level of Comfort: Russian Company Modernizes 35 Employment Centers in Kuban

Russian telecom operator MTS has completed a digital upgrade of 35 employment centers across Kuban. With electronic queue systems and digital terminals now in place, visitors can access services faster and more comfortably.

The modernization is part of the national program Kadry (Personnel), designed to help close workforce gaps, support employers and attract employees from other regions of the country. Public Joint Stock Company MTS served as the technical partner for the large-scale modernization effort.

Digital Queue Systems Bring Order

What has changed? Every employment center involved in the program now runs new Russian software integrated with electronic queue systems and information terminals. The modernization did not affect only central offices in Krasnodar Krai. Employment centers in cities and districts across the region received the same technological upgrade. Center administrators say the digital tools benefit both visitors and staff.

Saving Time for Clients and Staff

The new system has reduced waiting times for residents visiting employment centers to receive public services or assistance with job placement. At the same time, automation allows managers to monitor staff workload and improve internal workflows. This is especially relevant because Kuban’s employment centers provide a wide range of services. In addition to helping job seekers find available positions, they organize professional training programs, career guidance and psychological support.

As of early 2026, more than 480 employment centers across Russia have already been modernized, along with 162 career centers operating within educational institutions. The nationwide modernization program is expected to continue through 2028.

Technology Reshapes Public Employment Services

The modernization introduced electronic queue systems and self-service terminals into employment centers, significantly improving their operations. Visitors now spend far less time obtaining services, while administrators can redistribute staff responsibilities depending on workload without worrying that long queues will suddenly form.

For the labor market in Kuban and other regions participating in the Kadry national program, these changes are particularly important. New technologies make it easier to match employers with candidates by analyzing the skills and experience of job seekers working across different sectors of the economy. Applicants can now change jobs or receive additional training without navigating lengthy bureaucracy or standing in physical queues.

Toward Future Career Platforms

Modern technologies are strengthening digital infrastructure across the social sector and raising service standards overall. As the modernization continues, employment centers in Russia are expected to evolve into tools of national workforce policy. In the future, digital platforms may combine information about job openings and education programs into a single integrated ecosystem.

Digital technologies are becoming an essential part of developing the social sector. Our experience in implementing similar projects, including within the region’s water supply systems, allows us to effectively participate in modernizing employment infrastructure
