Rosatom Presents Its Best Developments for Electric Mobility Growth
Some of them could radically reshape urban transport infrastructure in the very near future.
The Rosatom state corporation held its first Electric Mobility Day. As part of the event, specialists presented a range of innovative solutions designed for the industry's development. According to experts, they could soon change not only the domestic auto industry but also the urban transport environment and even the habitual lifestyle of car owners.
The exhibition, open to all guests of the event, featured Russia's first Atom electric vehicle with test-drive opportunities and demonstration races, the Voyt electric vehicle, Russian batteries and integrated drives for electric transport, a robotic mobile charging station, and much more.
"Russian nuclear specialists have made a significant contribution to ensuring that, during a period of external restrictions, our auto industry not only achieved technological sovereignty but also reached a new level of development, mastering competencies in the most innovative and promising segment — electric mobility. The scientific and technological potential of the nuclear industry, along with substantial investment, made it possible to build modern production of traction batteries, integrated electric drives, and charging equipment from scratch in just a few years," explained Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the Rosatom state corporation.
