Uragan Robotic Mower Sets New Grass-Cutting Speed Record in Bratsk
Bratsk's municipal road maintenance service has launched seasonal mowing across 2 million square meters and, for the first time, deployed a remotely operated robotic lawn mower.

The Uragan robotic mower was tested at the intersection of Krupskaya and Ryabikova streets, where it cleared a large section of grass in just 10 minutes. The machine proved 12 times more productive than a worker using a brush cutter. It can be operated remotely from up to 200 meters away, while a single tank of fuel provides up to 10 hours of operation. The city also tested a ride-on lawn mower designed for use in parks.
According to Yurochkin, the equipment performed well during testing, and the city plans to make robotic mowers a regular part of its seasonal maintenance fleet alongside conventional park maintenance equipment.
