Majadur Rahaman Robin: Digital Transformation Gives Bangladesh a Historic Opportunity

Majadur Rahaman Robin, founder and CEO of ICTBangla Dotcom in Dhaka, Bangladesh, told IT Russia what he expects from his visit to the forum, what partnerships he hopes to establish, and how his company helps young people in Bangladesh participate in the digital economy.

– Technology is reshaping how we learn, work, do business and connect with one another. For Bangladesh, a nation with a young, ambitious and rapidly growing digital population, this transformation is a historic opportunity. That is why I see my visit to the 2nd Global Digital Forum in Moscow, held on October 8-10, 2026, as far more than a business trip. It is a chance to learn, connect and bring new ideas home.

I expect the Forum to be a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest developments in digital technology, artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Bringing together policymakers, technology leaders, researchers and innovators from more than 100 countries, it offers a rare view of where the digital world is heading and how different nations are digitalizing their economies, public services and education systems.

As an entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of ICTBangla Dotcom, I am particularly interested in meeting technology leaders, startups, investors and potential international partners. ICTBangla is guided by a simple belief: "Invest in Your Skills. Unlock Your Future." Through practical digital-skills training, mentorship and career support, we help young people in Bangladesh participate in the digital economy. I hope to exchange ideas, explore collaboration and gain practical insights that I can apply to our work and to Bangladesh's growing digital ecosystem.

I am also looking forward to meeting the IT Russia team to discuss cooperation in digital media and digital journalism. In a world where reliable, high-quality information matters more than ever, I believe such a partnership can open new channels of dialogue between the technology communities of Russia and Bangladesh.

Above all, I look forward to representing Bangladesh on this global stage. Our country has made remarkable progress in digital development, and our young people are full of talent and energy. I want to share our story, build meaningful international connections, and bring back new knowledge, partnerships and ideas that can contribute to digital education and technology-driven entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.

The Forum's motto, "Communicate. Connect. Create.", captures exactly what I hope to achieve in Moscow. I am grateful to the Forum organizers for this opportunity and to IT Russia for its interest in cooperation. I look forward to productive discussions and lasting partnerships.
