Russia Updates Platform for Automated Cyberattack Response
The latest release simplifies automated threat-response workflows and reduces the system’s reliance on manual operations.

UDV Group has released an updated version of its security-automation platform, UDV SOAR 4.1. The new release focuses on simplifying the creation of automated response scenarios and improving the efficiency of information-security teams.
The core goal of UDV SOAR is to reduce potential damage from cyber incidents by automating response processes. As the number of attacks grows, their spread across infrastructure accelerates, and skilled personnel remain in short supply, cutting back on manual operations has become a necessity. The platform allows organizations to formalize and standardize incident-response workflows.
What’s New
The latest release expands capabilities for working with playbooks and agents. Users can now run scheduled tasks while specifying the exact agents on which they should be executed, making it easier to manage distributed response scenarios. The interface for working with scripts and playbooks has also been redesigned: all object-related information — including documentation, parameters, and available options — is now displayed on a single, structured page. In addition, the platform now supports bulk export and import of scripts and playbooks, simplifying the transfer and replication of scenarios across different environments.
AI Assistant Update
UDV SOAR 4.1 also updates the script-generation model of the built-in AI assistant introduced in the previous release. Developers increased request-processing speed, expanded contextual understanding, and improved user-interaction patterns.
The UDV SOAR 4.1 update is designed for use in corporate and distributed infrastructure environments.
