Smart Cameras Installed at Heated Bus Stops in Noyabrsk
The system is designed to help curb vandalism and improve public safety.
Rostelecom has installed smart video cameras equipped with loudspeakers at 25 heated bus stops in the city of Noyabrsk. The project is being carried out in partnership with the local administration and is aimed at improving traffic monitoring and reducing public safety violations.
The system is specifically configured to detect acts of vandalism. If a camera identifies suspicious behavior, it emits an audible warning. If the individual does not stop, the footage is immediately transmitted to an operator control center, where specialists assess the situation and, if necessary, dispatch law enforcement to the scene.
Noyabrsk is considered one of the leaders in digital transformation among Russia’s northern cities. Its extensive surveillance network covers key transport hubs, crowded public areas, and critical infrastructure sites.
