Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Inzhiniring Engineers Share LLM Experience in Software Development
The company says combining AI with human oversight significantly speeds up development workflows.

Specialists from Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Inzhiniring took part in the All-Russian scientific and technical conference “Aktualnye problemy razvitiya neftegazovogo kompleksa Rossii (Current Issues in the Development of Russia’s Oil and Gas Sector),” where they presented their progress in applying artificial intelligence.
In building software, the company uses an iterative approach that combines the development of large language models (LLMs) with highly structured prompts and mandatory involvement of expert engineers. This setup delivers stronger results: AI can rapidly process large volumes of data, while human oversight helps accurately define tasks, interpret outputs, and account for industry-specific requirements.
Pilot projects have shown that this approach improves both the speed and quality of development, while also increasing the accuracy of final results.
