Rosatom Plants Top Industry Ranking of Digital Lean Enterprises

Two Rosatom facilities – Atommash in the Rostov region and Petrozavodskmash in the Republic of Karelia – have been ranked as leaders among digital PSR enterprises.

Two plants operated by Rosatom have taken the top positions in the industry ranking of digital PSR (Production System of Rosatom) enterprises. Atommash in the Rostov region and Petrozavodskmash in Karelia both confirmed their “gold” status. Each specializes in manufacturing equipment for nuclear power plants.

The facilities led the ranking due to their extensive use of advanced digital technologies in day-to-day operations.

“The gold status is not only recognition of what we have achieved but also a benchmark for the future. We have seen that digital solutions deliver measurable results in daily operations. Our next task is to turn isolated successes into a sustainable system,” said Maksim Zhidkov, head of the Atommash plant.

The designation marks the first time this level of recognition has been awarded to Atommash. The facility has implemented 21 practices in digitalization, robotics, and artificial intelligence, improving efficiency across all departments – from planning and production to quality control of finished products.
