A unified data center has gone live in Vladimir, becoming the technology backbone of the Bezopasnyy gorod system. The facility brings previously fragmented video data streams into a single environment and supplies the computing power needed to run video analytics algorithms.
The system can recognize faces and identify vehicles. When incidents occur, the data center can significantly speed up emergency services’ response. Situation center operators can conduct checks and coordinate incident response using structured metadata instead of manually reviewing archived video footage.
Vladimir Region authorities view the new data center as a model for future deployments. The experience gained from operating it is expected to be applied to other municipalities across the region.
