At the fourth Arktika – Regiony (Arctic – Regions) Forum, Bermos unveiled Sigma, a multipurpose drone with its own positioning system. The technology allows the aircraft to operate without a satellite navigation signal.

The drone can be used to rapidly establish communications, transport cargo and monitor its surroundings in real time. Other applications are possible when the aircraft is equipped with the appropriate payloads.

The drone comes with a ground station that supplies power and provides communications over a fiber-optic cable, and it is equipped with a thermal imaging camera. A standalone radio repeater can provide communications within a radius of up to 50 kilometers (31 miles). When tethered to the station, the drone can fly at altitudes of up to 150 meters (492 feet) and remain airborne continuously for more than 24 hours. It can carry a payload of up to 12 kilograms (26 pounds).
