The vocational school trains skilled workers and mid-level professionals for the construction and housing and utilities sectors, including architects and professionals specializing in building operations, plumbing installation, and road construction. In 2025, it also introduced a program for electrical technicians specializing in elevator equipment.

That same year, the vocational school opened a BIM technology workshop, where students create digital building models using Renga and learn 3ds Max, Blender 3D, and other visualization software. Six instructors received training in building information modeling in St. Petersburg, while another nine completed professional development programs at Transbaikal State University.

Students are putting these skills into practice by designing improvement projects for public squares and residential courtyards commissioned by the local administration, some of which are subsequently implemented. One such project on Bogomyagkova Street in Chita won a regional competition.

In fall 2026, the vocational school plans to open a UAV workshop, where drones will be used for surveying and road monitoring.
