Autonomous trucks operating on the M-11, M-12 and Central Ring Road have traveled a combined 19 million kilometers. A total of 100 trucks have completed about 12,500 commercial trips. The figures were reported by participants in the Bespilotnyye logisticheskiye koridory project, Navio and National Carrier.

According to the companies, autonomous transportation significantly reduces costs specifically on long-distance routes. Trips of 700 kilometers or more cost 15–20% less than conventional operations.

In 2026, the world's first autonomous international freight shipment was carried out between Russia and Kazakhstan. Autonomous trucks covered 3,000 kilometers in two and a half days. A conventional trip would have taken two days longer.

Autonomous freight transportation also reduces fuel costs by 5–7% through algorithms that provide smoother acceleration and braking.
