T Plus Specialists Inspect Novokuibyshevskaya CHPP-1 Turbine Using Video Endoscope
This inspection method makes it possible to detect defects at the earliest stages.
Specialists from the Samara branch of T Plus inspected gas turbine No. 1 at Novokuibyshevskaya CHPP-1 using a video endoscope. The use of advanced technology makes it possible to monitor the condition of critical equipment without dismantling it.
During the inspection, specialists examine the condition of turbine blades and nozzle assemblies. Special attachments for the probe also make it possible to accurately measure cracks and chips for subsequent creation of 3D models of the defects and conduct technical analysis.
"Such inspections are carried out periodically at the plant. They help us detect defects at an early stage so that we can plan the replacement of worn components in advance and extend the service life of the equipment," said Marat Fetkullov, director of the Samara branch of T Plus.
