Vladivostok Schools to Launch AI-Focused Classes
Starting with the new academic year, schools in Vladivostok will introduce specialized artificial intelligence classes under an initiative launched by Mayor Konstantin Shestakov.

The pilot program will begin with 12 fifth-grade classes. The curriculum has been licensed from the programming school Algoritmika. Instruction will follow a staged approach: younger students will learn the fundamentals of working with data and digital safety through interactive activities, middle school students will study the logic behind AI models, and high school students will develop their own engineering projects.
By the time they graduate, students completing the AI track are expected to have a competitive advantage when applying to the country's technical universities.
