Russian Smart Housing App Fixes the Warranty Repair Mess

Two domestic tech platforms have teamed up to bring transparency and speed to housing warranty repairs, starting with a Moscow residential complex.
Russia’s housing and utilities sector has taken a leap toward digital transformation with the integration of two platforms: Ujin OS and Techzor. Residents of the Symphony34 residential complex by MR Group can now report housing defects and track repair progress via a mobile app, thanks to a joint effort by IT firms Unicorn and Techzor, according to Comnews.
Previously, homeowners faced delays and poor communication between developers and property managers. The new system streamlines the process: once a resident submits a claim through the app, it’s automatically sent to the developer’s system. Each stage of the repair is displayed in real time, giving residents clear insight and boosting confidence in the system.
Techzor CEO Andrey Borodkin added that the model could scale to other residential complexes, improving service standards across the industry.
This rollout highlights how digital tools can modernize Russia’s housing sector, making it more transparent and user-friendly for everyone involved.
