Tambov Satellite Systems Maker Opens Logistics Hub in India
The company produces fuel consumption monitoring systems, bulk material sensors, and software.

Tambov-based NPO Mielta Tekhnologii has launched a logistics center in South Asia. The facility is designed to speed up equipment deliveries to customers in India and neighboring countries and to establish its own storage and distribution infrastructure outside Russia. The company’s press service told IT Russia about the move.
MIELTA on Millions of Vehicles
NPO Mielta Tekhnologii develops and manufactures satellite-based vehicle monitoring equipment, fuel consumption control systems, sensors for handling bulk materials, and software. MIELTA monitoring systems are installed on millions of vehicles across 100 countries.
The company’s primary markets are in Asia, particularly India, China, and Indonesia, as well as several African countries, including Zambia, Kenya, and Tanzania. Building its own overseas logistics infrastructure is expected to shorten delivery times while optimizing operating costs.
Export Strategy
Opening the logistics center in India marks the next phase of the company’s export strategy. The project was carried out with support from the Tambov Region Export Support Center and the Russian Export Center.
Companies are bringing their products to major international trade shows, universities are expanding partnerships with foreign institutions, and foreign trade ties are broadening through new agreements with countries in Asia, Africa, and the post-Soviet region.
