Russian Corporate Messenger Pachka Gains Certification for Astra Linux
The corporate messaging platform Pachka has received official certification to operate on Astra Linux, allowing it to be deployed in organizations that use the Russian operating system with heightened security requirements.

The messenger’s developers and Astra Group have announced a technology partnership. Pachka has joined the Ready for Astra program in the communications software category. The certification confirms that the messenger runs reliably and correctly in the Astra Linux environment. The two products are compatible out of the box, without the need for custom modifications, workarounds, or complex configuration.
Corporate Messenger
Pachka is one of Russia’s more prominent corporate messaging platforms. It supports cloud-based, hybrid, and fully on-premise deployment models. The latter is particularly important for organizations operating within closed IT environments. The platform is included in Russia’s registry of domestic software and is used by more than 1,000 organizations. Its users include major online services, industrial and telecom companies, as well as banks. In total, more than 250,000 employees use the messenger for day-to-day work communications.
Astra Linux
Astra Linux is the flagship operating system developed by Astra Group. Built on Debian, it is designed for secure environments and protected infrastructures. Astra Linux is widely used across the public sector, state-owned companies, education, healthcare, and industry. For many organizations, it serves as the base platform on which all workplace services are deployed.
Certification means that Pachka integrates correctly with Astra Linux security mechanisms and can be used in operational environments without posing risks to infrastructure. For IT departments, this simplifies and accelerates the rollout of corporate communications without the need for additional service integration.
Astra Group has emphasized the broader ecosystem value of the partnership.
The messenger’s development team also highlighted the practical benefits.
More broadly, the certification represents another step toward building complete domestic IT stacks for the Russian market.
