Dental Clinics Get Financial Map of All Payments
The Future IT Dent medical information system for dental clinics has gained a cash flow module that records all clinic transactions.
The module tracks patient payments, refunds, balance top-ups, cash and non-cash settlements, and operating expenses. For each transaction, the system stores the date and time, amount, payment method, transaction type, branch, employee, patient, and linked account.
The more branches a clinic has, the harder it is to reconcile data from the cash register, banking services, and internal documents. Now managers can see not only the total for a period but also what it consists of. For example, if cash was withdrawn for operating needs, the system retains the amount, date, transaction type, and the employee who processed it.
Data can be compared across branches, cash and non-cash settlements can be monitored, and the information can be used for management analysis. The module continues Future IT Dent's effort to consolidate a clinic's medical, operational, and management processes into a single system.
