Medical Students in Tomsk Develop Software for Laboratory Operations Management
The application was created by students at Siberian State Medical University to streamline laboratory workflows and inventory management.

Students at Siberian State Medical University in Tomsk have developed a web application for managing medical laboratory operations. The project began as an inventory-tracking system but evolved into a broader platform for laboratory management.
The application helps laboratories oversee key operational processes. Among its features are reagent inventory tracking, monitoring of stock levels and expiration dates, procurement planning, and other administrative functions. The platform also supports role-based access controls and simplifies reporting tasks.
The developers say the software can eliminate the need for paper logs, disconnected Excel spreadsheets, and many sources of human error. The system is designed to prevent unexpected reagent shortages and ensure that laboratory equipment receives scheduled maintenance on time.
