Moscow Launches Production of AI-Powered Ultrasound Scanners
The equipment can support a wide range of medical applications.
Serial production of multipurpose ultrasound scanners with built-in artificial intelligence has begun at the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. The equipment can not only perform examinations but also organize and analyze data, reducing routine work for medical professionals. The device was developed and is manufactured by Nauchno-Proizvodstvennoye Obedineniye Skanner.
The RuSkan 80 scanner features a 23.8-inch widescreen monitor and a 14-inch touchscreen control panel. It is designed for a wide range of medical applications. For obstetricians and gynecologists, the scanner offers high-density single-crystal probes and 3D imaging that can show the stages of fetal development. Cardiologists can use myocardial contractility assessments and stress tests to detect heart abnormalities at an early stage.
The manufacturer has so far produced 11 units, which have been delivered to hospitals in several regions across Russia.
