Polyex Replaces Spreadsheet Workflows With Business Intelligence Dashboards

Polyex, working with IT integrator GlowByte, has deployed the Russian analytics platform PIX BI to consolidate fragmented sales, logistics, and chemical-reagent data into a unified system. Company executives can now monitor business performance through interactive dashboards instead of manually processing spreadsheets.

Before the rollout, key transportation and sales data was scattered across Excel files, making report preparation slow and labor-intensive. Polyex selected PIX BI for its combination of analytics functionality and a user-friendly Russian-language interface. The platform now supports about 10 dashboards for senior management, covering transportation metrics, reagent analytics, and commercial performance across regions and customer segments.

“Previously, critical transportation and sales data accumulated in Excel files, and decision-making took considerable time. During the pilot phase, we demonstrated through test dashboards for reagent transportation that information previously spread across folders and files could be visualized clearly and accessed in just a few clicks. That became the starting point for moving the project into full-scale industrial deployment of PIX BI. Managers can now see the business more clearly through dashboards and visualizations and quickly identify growth opportunities across regions and market segments,” said Arina Bortnikova, lead analyst at Polyex’s strategic development division.

The company plans to continue expanding the platform by adding new dashboards for the sales division, deepening geoanalytics capabilities, and integrating marketing analysis tools, including competitive intelligence based on external data sources.
