RocketData Cuts Cloud Cost Monitoring Time Tenfold
RocketData, a developer of a cloud platform for managing business online presence, has deployed Klaudmaster (Cloudmaster) from Inferit FinOps (SF Tekh cluster, Softline Group). The move reduced IT infrastructure costs and accelerated cloud cost monitoring by a factor of ten, easing operational load and improving transparency.

RocketData, a cloud platform for managing business visibility and reputation online, needed a new digital solution to streamline operations. The platform enables companies to manage reviews through a single interface and improve their ranking in local search results across mapping services. Over time, however, cloud costs and the workload on technical teams continued to grow. The company decided to make internal processes more manageable by deploying a solution from Inferit FinOps.
Previously, RocketData engineers provisioned IT resources for new services in a way that led to over-allocation of capacity. Monitoring cloud spending, including Kubernetes container analysis, had to be done manually. This process could take up to one full working day, or 20 hours of combined effort from three technical specialists.
After switching to Klaudmaster, the company was able to identify hidden costs, automate recommendations for optimizing Kubernetes clusters, and improve overall cost visibility. The setup itself took about 15 minutes, after which RocketData gained a detailed view of its IT infrastructure spending.

Cutting Waste at the Infrastructure Level
Klaudmaster is designed to automatically detect Kubernetes containers with inefficient resource limits and recommend adjustments. The platform also identified unused disks left behind after deletion by the cloud provider, which were still being billed. By eliminating these inefficiencies, the team reduced unnecessary spending.
Tellingly, overall costs for virtual machines dropped by 20% per month without affecting service performance. Meanwhile, productivity increased, while the time required to detect anomalies in resource allocation fell tenfold, from 20 hours to just two. The platform gave RocketData’s team a clearer view of how resources are structured and consumed. It not only highlighted weak points but also shifted analysis into an automated mode, making financial allocation significantly more transparent.

Focus on Cost Control
The deployment reflects a broader challenge facing many Russian companies. Cloud bills are rising, but cost visibility often remains limited. In this context, it is no longer enough to simply migrate to the cloud. Organizations need tools to control spending, automatically detect inefficiencies, and manage cost distribution. For end users, the impact is indirect but tangible. When businesses and retail platforms operate more efficiently, they can maintain more stable online services and reallocate budgets away from infrastructure losses toward product development.
The rollout of Klaudmaster signals the emergence of a new class of mature infrastructure products in Russia. These tools are not only replacing foreign solutions but also improving the economic efficiency of IT operations. The platform is officially registered as domestic software, reinforcing its positioning in terms of security and compliance. Looking ahead, Russian IT products such as Klaudmaster could gain traction in markets that require locally adaptable, cost-efficient solutions for cloud cost control. This is particularly relevant for regions where flexibility and regulatory alignment are critical.
