Russia Launches AI Factory to Simplify Business Adoption of Intelligent Tools

Cloud.ru's new platform gives businesses—from startups to enterprises—ready-made tools to quickly develop, deploy, and integrate AI across operations.
One Platform, All the Tools
Until recently, deploying AI solutions in business required building infrastructure from scratch and hiring highly skilled teams. Cloud.ru is aiming to change that with its new launch: the Cloud.ru Evolution AI Factory.
The platform brings together all the essential tools for building and deploying AI agents, including multi-agent systems, retraining models, and integration with existing business workflows. It drastically reduces time-to-market for AI-powered products and is designed to support applications ranging from customer service automation to supply chain optimization.

Designed for Everyone
One of the Factory’s biggest strengths is its accessibility. Startups and small businesses can now deploy AI without needing complex back-end systems. Midsize and enterprise users get out-of-the-box integration options for building analytics tools and smart apps, while research and data science teams can use the platform to run experiments and validate hypotheses.
Cloud.ru’s ease of use is also a major plus—it doesn’t require extensive programming skills or deep machine learning expertise to get started.
A Timely Launch for the Russian Market
“We want to make access to cloud AI as simple and intuitive as possible,” said Vladimir Shulga, Cloud.ru’s Head of Product. “Now businesses and developers can prototype faster and integrate GenAI into their workflows for real economic impact.”
The demand for ready-to-use AI tools is growing fast. Following the departure of Western tech firms from Russia, many companies were left with unmet needs. Foreign models like OpenAI’s ChatGPT face limitations due to cross-border data restrictions and are mostly suitable for prototyping—not production. Cloud.ru’s platform aims to fill that gap and boost the country’s digital autonomy.

National Priorities and Ecosystem Collaboration
AI adoption in business is now a strategic national priority. Russia’s Data Economy and Digital Transformation program—a successor to the Digital Economy initiative—is expected to run from 2025 to 2030 and has secured over 11 trillion rubles in funding, plus 420 billion from private sources.
In December, the AI Alliance and the FinTech Association launched a sector-specific club focused on AI in finance. Its goal: develop the country’s first standard for measuring the ROI of AI adoption in the financial sector. Members include Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, VTB, Yandex, the Moscow Exchange, and Raiffeisenbank.

Global Outlook and Strategic Advantage
Cloud.ru’s AI Factory is also being positioned for international markets, particularly in the Global South, where trust in Western software has eroded post-sanctions. Russian platforms could become not only reliable but also more cost-effective alternatives.
The acceleration of AI adoption across industries has significant implications for national competitiveness. As the government scales support for talent development and incentives, platforms like Cloud.ru’s Factory could drive long-term economic transformation.
