Russians With Disabilities Find Jobs in the Nuclear Industry Thanks to Digital Tools

Digital training and remote work programs launched by Rosatom are opening the doors of the nuclear industry to people with disabilities across Russia.

Rosatom’s social project is enabling remote training in computer technologies. The initiative gives people with health limitations the chance to get jobs, gain knowledge, and advance professionally.

The “Inclusion” program was launched in the nuclear industry in early 2024. It is run by Greenatom, the state corporation’s IT integrator, and already more than 90 employees with disabilities are working in the nuclear field. Beyond employment, the project promotes career growth and computer literacy, while also opening doors to remote work opportunities for residents of rural Russia.

Experience shows that people with disabilities have strong professional potential. At Greenatom, managers emphasize that they are skilled, motivated employees who work effectively in teams. Colleagues who volunteer to provide support help them adapt and overcome challenges.
