Yandex has launched a Minecraft server called Posledniy blok (Final Block), where teenagers can prepare for Russia’s Unified State Exam (EGE) and Basic State Exam (OGE) in math, Russian language and social studies. The company has reworked gameplay mechanics to fit an educational format. Traditional armor is replaced with “Neirodospekh” (Neuro-armor), while the main instructor role is assigned to the Alisa AI neural network, which helps players work through problems and suggests solution paths. Players earn points for completing tasks and can enter a weekly leaderboard among users.

The server interface is divided into several zones. Students can explore a cave with “knowledge craters” to mine “granite of science,” as well as access three beacons featuring exam-style assignments. To join the server, users must download a dedicated Yandex launcher from the official Posledniy blok website and create an account via a VK bot. The installer is currently available only for Windows PCs.
