Dariga Dzhoomartova: Robots and Modern Technologies Could Be Useful in Bishkek

A Kyrgyz participant in the Second Global Digital Forum spoke about what caught her attention in Skolkovo's architecture, modern technologies for the media industry and robots that could be useful in Bishkek.

In less than 24 hours, Moscow will open its doors to the Second Global Digital Forum: from October 8 to 10, the Mechta venue in Gorky Park is set to welcome delegations from dozens of countries. Ahead of the event, participants visited Skolkovo, where they spoke with the IT Russia media platform about their first impressions of the innovation center and what they expect from the upcoming forum.

Dariga Dzhoomartova of Kyrgyzstan shared her impressions:

– The first thing that caught my attention at Skolkovo was the architecture. I've loved drawing plans since I was a child and have always enjoyed creating things on paper, which is why I chose this field as my profession. I liked the way the buildings look here, how they're arranged and how everything fits together. Skolkovo as a whole is very beautiful and interesting, and I learned a lot of new things here.

For example, we were shown a studio equipped for chroma keying and a special camera that moves during filming. I think a setup like that could be useful for bloggers and many other people. Filming in different locations usually means spending a lot of money on travel, but here you can create the background you need right in the studio.

Of all the forum topics, I'm most interested in robotics. Russia already has delivery robots, and today at Skolkovo, for example, we saw Piksel (Pixel), which cleans parks. It would be great to have technologies like these in Bishkek.
