Jalilu Issa: Moscow Is One of the World's Most Advanced Cities
Ahead of the opening of the Second Global Digital Forum, Tanzanian participant Jalilu Issa spoke about what impressed him about the smart city concept and what he found particularly convenient about Moscow's subway system.

A day before the GDF officially opens, its guests toured VDNKh. The forum itself is set to take place at the Mechta (Dream) complex from October 8 to 10, bringing together experts from around the world to discuss new forms of technology cooperation and the integration of digital solutions into national ecosystems.
During the tour, Jalilu Issa of Tanzania shared his impressions of Moscow with reporters from the IT Russia media platform:
– First of all, I was struck by the very idea of a smart city. Human interaction really is kept to a minimum, with technology largely taking over, and I think Moscow is one of the world's most advanced cities in this respect. So my impressions are amazing.
I was particularly impressed by a display that let you travel virtually across the entire city and see everything Moscow has to offer. It's truly fascinating.
I also liked the Moscow Metro. You can get anywhere in the city quickly. The payment system is very convenient, too. I know that if you're visiting from abroad, for example, you can buy a one-day pass and travel from morning until night.
Issa also said he was eagerly looking forward to the start of the Global Digital Forum and hoped to make many friends and business connections in Russia.
