Alfa-Bank is launching its own investment education courses for young customers. The first courses will appear on the bank's investment platform in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The decision follows a pilot educational module called Quiz Lab. In Russia, teenagers can invest independently from the age of 14, and adolescence is an important period for developing financial habits, including setting goals, understanding risks and making informed decisions about money. A game-based format allows teenagers to gain their first practical experience with money in a safe environment.

An internal bank study found that teenagers are interested in modern learning formats: 39% prefer game-based learning, while 27% want to study directly in an app.

The pilot showed that gamification helps young people learn the basics of investing, with engagement among teenagers proving higher than among adult customers. Every second teenager who started the training eventually opened an account, while the course completion rate was 20% higher than among adults, according to the bank.
