TERA Adds Russian Contractor Risk Assessment Platform to Its Portfolio
TERA IT Distributor and cybersecurity developer CICADA8 have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
Under the agreement, TERA will offer customers CICADA8 Cyber Rating, described as Russia’s first domestically developed system for assessing contractor risks. The platform continuously monitors risks, allowing large companies and financial institutions to see a real-time map of external risks and prevent incidents before they escalate.
“Today, a company’s security is only as strong as the least protected contractor with access to its network. Supply chain attacks have become one of the major cybercrime trends of recent years. Traditional one-off questionnaire-based audits no longer work; the market needs a continuous monitoring tool,” said Mikhail Chizhov, head of information security at TERA.
Timur Bigulov, head of partner development at CICADA8, said the company expects to expand the market presence of its products through TERA’s partner network and lab capabilities. In addition to Cyber Rating, TERA partners will gain access to other CICADA8 products for managing cyber risks.
