Students at the Summer School of Artificial Intelligence, organized by Petrozavodsk State University, have developed prototypes of two intelligent systems for the Petrozavodskmash plant. They are designed to reduce workplace injuries and improve employees' psychological comfort.

The first system uses machine vision to monitor the condition of floor surfaces. The algorithm is configured to detect liquid spills and immediately sends a warning signal when they occur. This significantly reduces the risks of injuries, accidents and equipment downtime by allowing problems to be addressed promptly.

A prototype was also developed to assess employees' emotional state by using their facial expressions to evaluate each worker's stress and fatigue levels. The solution is aimed at timely redistribution of workloads. This approach helps reduce the risks of emotional burnout and deterioration in product quality.

The solutions are expected to make production safer and working conditions more comfortable.
