300 Elevators to Be Digitalized in Moscow Region
The work will be carried out as part of a pilot project approved by the Russian Ministry of Construction.
The Russian Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities has approved a roadmap for the Digital Elevator pilot project. It will be implemented in the Moscow Region.
The document provides for the digitalization of 300 elevators in apartment buildings. The roadmap sets out equipping the lifts with controllers and telemetry sensors, connecting management organizations, and verifying the completed sections of the system.
"The implementation of the Digital Elevator pilot project in the Moscow Region is intended to practically test the functionality for collecting data on the elevator fleet in real time and analyzing it, and to work out the procedures for connecting elevators to the system and equipping them with the necessary hardware. The results of the pilot project should become a practical basis for further decisions on digitalizing elevator industry management," said Alexander Lomakin, First Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation.
