AI Takes the Runway at Moscow Fashion Week
An AI assistant from Sber is being used for the first time at Moscow Fashion Week to analyze designer looks and power interactive fashion services.

The AI assistant GigaChat, developed by Sber, has become a strategic partner of Moscow Fashion Week.
Fashion Meets Artificial Intelligence
The sixth Moscow Fashion Week is taking place at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall. The event is organized by the Fashion Fund with support from the Moscow city government. This year the show adopted a technology-focused concept titled “GigaWeek of Fashion.”
Sber integrated its AI assistant GigaChat into the project. The system analyzes designers’ looks and helps visitors explore new collections through interactive tools.
Organizers invited guests to view the fashion industry through the lens of artificial intelligence. The technology has become part of the exhibition and the event’s digital services.
Virtual Fitting Room
A dedicated AI fitting-room zone has opened inside the Manezh venue. Visitors can see how clothing from new collections by Russian designers would look on them.
To try the feature, visitors simply stand in front of a screen. The system creates a digital model of the person and overlays the selected outfit onto the image. After the fitting, users can take a photo wearing the virtual look. The format is being used in Russia for the first time. Visitors can try on clothes that currently exist only as designer prototypes and have not yet entered production.
Across the Country
A similar service has also launched online. Users of GigaChat can upload their own photos and try on digital versions of designer outfits. This allows people to preview fashion trends for the upcoming season.
A Neural Network’s Fashion Verdict
Developers continue training GigaChat to work with the fashion industry. In the future, the system could analyze designer collections and help select participants for runway shows.
Organizers expect that by the next Moscow Fashion Week, artificial intelligence could become part of the event’s expert panel.
