Demand for AI-Skilled Workers in Russia Surges by One-Third
New data from Avito Rabota shows soaring interest in roles requiring AI expertise, especially across agriculture, forestry, fisheries, document processing, and marketing.

Demand for employees with artificial intelligence skills tripled in Russia during the fall of 2025, according to the Avito Rabota job platform. Candidate activity also rose sharply, with applicants responding to such postings 68 percent more often.
Compared to last year, the number of AI-related vacancies in forestry, agriculture, and fisheries more than doubled. Today these specialists operate unmanned machinery, monitor forests and biological resources, and manage analytical systems. In agriculture, AI evaluates crop conditions, assesses harvest quality, and offers recommendations on livestock care. These positions are no longer just about mechanics or agronomy—they increasingly require IT expertise.
AI is also transforming document workflow. It is now used across industries for text, image, and signature recognition, smart sorting, and other automation tasks. Manual document handling is rapidly becoming a thing of the past.
The Boom in AI Education
The highest-paying roles in fields with growing AI demand are found in marketing, where neural networks assist with creative development, budget planning, and analyzing campaign performance. Demand for professionals fluent in digital tools is rising not only in Moscow but across the regions. AI is being actively adopted in government, education, and the service sector.
Experts note that AI literacy has become a key competitive advantage for job seekers. Demand for training is also high, with a genuine boom in adult AI education underway.
