A media art exhibition titled Strana. Svyaz. Tekhnologii (Country. Connection. Technologies) is set to open in Volgograd. The artworks will be presented using digital screens and panoramic projections.

History, Multimedia and Art

The exhibition will take place at the historical park Rossiya – moya istoriya (Russia – My History) from March 7 to March 22. The display will occupy five halls and bring together works by contemporary artists from several countries.

Visitors will see more than 60 digital artworks. They will be shown on multimedia screens as well as through dome and panoramic projections.

The artists used digital technologies to create visual effects and interactive imagery. The exhibition includes animated portraits, contemporary interpretations of ancient symbols and landscapes created at the intersection of natural motifs and digital graphics.

Artists From Around the World

Fourteen artists from Russia, India, Argentina, Brazil, Azerbaijan, China and the Netherlands are participating in the exhibition. Their works are united by the use of digital technologies and multimedia formats.

The exhibition is designed to show how contemporary artists work with computer graphics, video projections and digital effects.

Project Finale

The Strana. Svyaz. Tekhnologii project launched in December 2025 and has traveled through several Russian cities. The exhibition has already been presented in seven regions, from the Urals to southern Russia.

For each city, curators assembled a unique selection of artists and works. Volgograd will serve as the final stop on the project’s route.
