Digital Assistant Encourages Healthy Living in Russia’s Orenburg Region
Interactive service promotes fitness and local exploration

More than 12,000 residents of the Orenburg region have adopted healthier lifestyles through the “Ya shagayu!” (I Walk!) online project. The digital service, available on the Aktivnyy grazhdanin (Active Citizen) platform, provides information on sports events and regional tourist routes, encouraging users to explore the area through physical activity.
Events and route locations are equipped with QR codes that users can scan to access additional information about each site or activity. Participants earn points for completing routes, which can be exchanged for rewards.
A Virtual Starting Line
The service is integrated into the broader SportAktiv Orenburzhya fitness initiative, which includes more than 10 open tournaments and competitions throughout the year. Participants can compete in running, swimming, cycling, and even phygital sports. Points are awarded for each stage, and those who complete all events receive medals and prizes. Project coordination is also managed through the “Ya shagayu!” platform. To participate, users simply need to register via the Gosuslugi (State Services portal).
