Greenatom Confirms Digital Leadership Status in Nuclear Industry

Rosatom’s IT integrator has successfully completed its annual partner quality assessment, reaching a new level of digital maturity.

Following the audit, the company not only retained its status as a Tsifrovoe PSR-predpriyatie (Digital PSR Enterprise) but also advanced to the “Silver” level, one of the highest tiers in the state corporation’s digital maturity framework.

What Is Digital PSR

The Rosatom Production System (PSR) was originally designed to improve the efficiency of industrial operations through process standardisation, waste reduction, and stronger workforce engagement.

With the evolution of digital technologies, a digital layer was integrated into the system – Tsifrovoe PSR (Digital PSR). This standard reflects how extensively an enterprise applies modern IT solutions to optimise business processes, automate routine operations, and increase management transparency.

Digital PSR maturity levels are structured progressively: “Basic”, “Bronze”, “Silver”, and “Gold”. Advancing to each level requires not only the deployment of technologies but also their systematic integration into production and management processes, with measurable outcomes such as reduced operation times, lower costs, or improved product quality.

Silver Level Reflects Systematic Transformation

Greenatom’s transition to the “Silver” level was driven by a consistent digital transformation programme implemented over recent years. The company deployed solutions for document workflow automation, project management, and IT asset management, and developed platforms for digital identity and biometrics. A key focus has been put on practical impact: each solution is required to address a specific business task and deliver measurable economic benefits.

During the assessment, experts evaluated not only the presence of digital products but also the depth of their integration into processes, the level of staff engagement, the sustainability of results, and readiness to scale solutions across other sites in the nuclear sector. Maintaining and upgrading its status under these conditions reflects the maturity of the company’s digital culture.

Industry Implications

As Rosatom’s IT integrator, Greenatom plays a central role in the corporation’s digital ecosystem. The company not only transforms its own operations but also develops solutions for other Rosatom entities, ranging from biometric systems to asset management platforms.

Achieving the “Silver” level indicates that its solutions meet stringent digital maturity requirements and can be replicated across the sector.

This is particularly relevant in the context of technological sovereignty. Russian IT solutions are expected not only to replace foreign systems but also to deliver higher efficiency by aligning with domestic practices and the specific requirements of the nuclear industry. Greenatom’s progress provides a reference point for domestic development in critical areas, including cybersecurity and complex production chain management.

Path to Gold Level

The company aims to reach the highest, “Gold”, level of digital maturity by 2026. This will require not only further development of its digital products but also the creation of an ecosystem in which technology serves as a fully integrated environment for business operations.

This means a shift from automating individual tasks to building end-to-end digital processes. In such systems, data flows seamlessly between platforms, and decisions are made by professionals based on real-time analytics.

Reaching the “Silver” level represents a key milestone on the path to technological leadership. For Greenatom and the wider nuclear sector, it confirms that digital transformation in Russia has moved beyond pilot projects and has become a practical tool for improving efficiency, safety, and competitiveness in strategically important industries.

We thank all the teams that have gone through this challenging journey. We have demonstrated our ability to operate under pressure and achieve our goals. The experience and recommendations gained will form the foundation for our move toward the ‘Gold’ level in 2026
