OpenSpeedTest.ru Launches Free Server and Network Monitoring Tool
Russian internet speed testing service OpenSpeedTest.ru has released a lightweight Python-based CLI agent for monitoring both server health and internet connection quality. The tool is available free of charge to all registered users of the platform.

The agent collects data on CPU utilization, memory usage, and disk capacity while also measuring download and upload speeds, latency, and jitter. All metrics are displayed in a cloud-based dashboard featuring interactive charts and an event log. The tool supports notifications via Telegram, VK, email, and webhooks. It operates without opening network ports and does not require superuser privileges, making it a lightweight and secure alternative to more cumbersome monitoring platforms such as Zabbix and Prometheus.
