Russia’s State Construction Expertise Body Launches AI Collaboration

Glavgosexpertiza and Digital Industrial Technologies are teaming up to bring artificial intelligence deeper into construction and public sector assessments.

Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, the country’s key authority for state construction review, has signed a partnership agreement with the federal organization Digital Industrial Technologies to integrate artificial intelligence into the construction sector. The deal includes joint development and testing of pilot projects aimed at streamlining state expertise processes.

The collaboration will also examine regulatory frameworks around AI, including in academic and educational domains. The goal is to enhance the quality of public services and accelerate the digital transformation of the construction industry. Glavgosexpertiza is already piloting AI-assisted evaluation of technical documentation, using neural networks to support expert reviews.

The agency’s Unified Digital Platform has digitized communications across all parties in the investment and construction cycle—replacing the outdated practice of moving paperwork between government departments. Digital Industrial Technologies, operating under Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, serves as a key competence center for industrial digitization and supports companies in adopting AI-driven solutions.
