Yandex Launches New AI Assistant That Can Book a Table or Call a Taxi
The upgraded “Alisa AI” combines text, visuals, and real-time map data to handle daily tasks across multiple Yandex services.

Russia’s largest tech company, Yandex, has unveiled a new city-focused AI assistant capable of handling real-world tasks—from reserving a restaurant table to calling a taxi. The system, named Alisa AI, interacts with the intelligent agents of Yandex Go and other company services to perform complex, multi-step commands.
Trained on millions of everyday user requests from Yandex Search, Go, and other platforms, Alisa AI relies on the company’s new family of generative models, which are constantly updated and expanded. The assistant’s responses can now include images, videos, and live information from Yandex Maps, turning routine queries into interactive experiences.
Smarter, More Connected, and Always Learning
In the coming months, Yandex plans to integrate specialized AI agents that can execute user requests directly in chat. For example, users will be able to tell Alisa to order a taxi, build a shopping list, pick a restaurant, or book a table, and the assistant will coordinate the task through the relevant Yandex service.
Yandex is also preparing to release wearable AI devices featuring Alisa AI as part of its new “My Memory” service. These devices will let users record notes and reminders by voice on the go—no smartphone required. The assistant will automatically convert the recordings into structured text lists and memos, stored in the user’s personal AI workspace.
With Alisa AI, Yandex is turning its ecosystem of apps and devices into a fully integrated AI companion, capable of managing the details of daily life—hands-free, context-aware, and always connected.
