Kiosks equipped with the GigaDoc multimodal AI assistant are being introduced in Anadyr to provide rapid, AI-based assessments of users’ health. The devices have been installed at a public services center in the Chukotka Autonomous Area and at a shopping mall in the city.

A screening takes just a few seconds. GigaDoc assesses parameters including estimated age, pulse, body mass index (BMI), risk of type 2 diabetes and heart rate variability, along with other indicators. The algorithm analyzes these data to identify potential signs of various health conditions.

“The project’s main goal is to give residents a convenient way to assess their current health and identify risk factors for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis, at an early stage. After screening and receiving information about their health indicators, people may be more motivated to schedule a doctor’s appointment for a more comprehensive preventive health checkup,” the regional government said.

The kiosks are expected to gain additional features in the future, including the ability to book a doctor’s appointment directly through the device.
