In 2026, the theater will digitize its artistic collection and serve as the flagship venue for the project in Russia's Northwestern Federal District.

The project is being led by the Obraztsov Puppet Theater Museum with support from the Potanin Foundation. A prominent part of the digital collection will feature works by Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater's chief artist, Elena Nikolayeva, whose portfolio includes productions based on works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Gogol, and Gozzi.

"As part of the project, an online gallery will be created to showcase digitized sketches produced by puppet theater artists who remain largely unknown to the public. They usually stay behind the scenes, but their work deserves to be seen," said Galina Shirokova, head of the Obraztsov Puppet Theater Museum.

In addition to the gallery, the platform will include virtual exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and podcasts featuring participating artists.
