Russia’s “Ticket to the Future” Career Platform for School Students Is to Go Fully Digital

The software behind the “Ticket to the Future” platform has been added to Russia’s official registry of domestic software.

The inclusion formally confirms that the system meets documented requirements for security, reliability, and technological independence.

A Career-Guidance Platform

“Ticket to the Future” is a digital career-guidance platform designed to help school students make more informed decisions about their future professions. The platform provides a secure digital environment where students can access learning materials and recommendations developed with the involvement of experts in career counseling, education, and psychology.

Work “Showcase”

One of the platform’s key tools is the “Employer Showcase.” It allows students to visit potential employers through virtual tours and take part in internships at vetted companies. The format is designed to introduce students to different professions in practice and to provide a near-real, hands-on experience remotely.

Millions of Views

Today, the platform brings together 5.9 million active users. The total number of views of educational materials has exceeded 493 million, highlighting strong demand for digital career-guidance services.

“The platform offers a wide range of modern formats — from career aptitude testing to video materials with practical advice from teachers, tutors, and psychologists. These resources help students and their families better navigate the choice of a future profession,” said Dmitry Ermolin, director of a center for advanced professional training.

The unified career-guidance model behind “Ticket to the Future” is being implemented as part of the national project “Youth and Children” and is described as one of the most important digital tools for working with school students.
