Chernyshenko Explains How His Team Uses AI at Work
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that he and his team actively use artificial intelligence technologies in their work. He made the remarks during an open lecture at the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg.
Speaking at the lecture “Generation of Creators: Who Is Building Russia’s Technological Future,” the deputy prime minister said he uses virtually all available AI models but prefers Russian-developed technologies. According to Chernyshenko, specialists train his team each week in new ways to use the technology.
“Because it really offers significant capabilities for processing and analyzing large amounts of data, identifying patterns and deviations, and developing hypotheses,” Chernyshenko said, explaining the value of AI in his work.
The deputy prime minister also stressed the importance of maintaining critical thinking when using AI. He noted that Russia already has an AI ethics code in place.
“Responsibility for decisions made based on recommendations from artificial intelligence must ultimately remain with the person,” the deputy prime minister said.
